The availability of all HSE VIDEOS video programmes is subject to the availability of stock. HSE VIDEOS reserves the right to withdraw programmes without prior notice. HSE VIDEOS reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.
Loans and Hires
Borrowing Period
Unless otherwise stated all loans and hires are for a five-day period. Titles may be loaned or hired for longer than the basic period shown, subject to availability and additional payment. Repetitive booking periods for free loan titles (eg for successive school terms) may be made. Please discuss your requirements by telephone with our booking receptionist.
Bookings
Free Loan bookings may be made by telephone, fax or mail. Hire titles may be reserved by telephone but written confirmation must be received within fourteen days. Programmes for hire will not be despatched until such confirmation is received.
For hire charges greater than £25, payment in advance is not required and an invoice will be issued with the goods. Payment is due strictly within 30 days of invoice date.
HSE VIDEOS would appreciate bookings made as far in advance as possible and usually requires a minimum of fourteen days notice.
Where time allows, all bookings are confirmed in writing by HSE VIDEOS - please check your confirmation carefully to ensure that the details are correct - it is sometimes necessary for HSE VIDEOS to change details of pricing or availability. If you wish to cancel or alter a booking please notify us at least 14 days before the showing date.
Delivery and Return
HSE VIDEOS pays the outward delivery charges by 2nd class post on all material. All video cassettes can be returned free of charge via the Post Office's Freepost scheme.
Please ensure that for items returned by post, a certificate of posting, which must be stamped at a Post Office, is obtained in case of loss or damage in transit. Without such proof of posting you will be liable for any loss or damage in return transit.
HSE VIDEOS cannot be held reponsible for any damage or loss arising from any inability to supply any given programme on the date specified. Please inform HSE VIDEOS immediately in the event of non-delivery by the requested date.
Special despatch arrangements for last minute bookings will incur a supplementary charge. Our booking receptionists will supply details.
Late return
All material should be returned , immediately after use, in the container provided and, at the latest on the first working day after the last show date indicated on the booking confirmation. Any late returns for hire items will be charged as a continuation of the original loan. Late returns of Free Loan items will be charged at £5.75 including VAT per item for each week, or part of a week, overdue.
Lost material
Customers will be invoiced in full for the full value of material lost while on loan to them, unless they can produce a certificate of posting to show that it has been mailed back to HSE VIDEOS..
Notes and support material
Many titles come with essential users' notes. Most are provided free and are non-returnable, but notes for certain programmes are chargeable and some are returnable. Details are available from HSE VIDEOS.
SALES
Orders
Sales orders must be confirmed in writing unless they are placed over the telephone using Access, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club or American Express. Confirmations of faxed or verbal orders should be marked as such, as HSE VIDEOS cannot be held responsible for processing duplicate orders. Please ensure that the prescribed purchasing procedures of your organisation are fully complied with. For security reasons credit cards details should not be sent by email.
It is sometimes necessary to change details of pricing or availability without notice. Please check with HSE VIDEOS on 0845 741 9411 (local call rate) before ordering.
For items where the sale price is below £25 we require payment by cheque or credit card with your order.
We will confirm your order in writing and the price quoted will be firm. If there is any discrepancy or any alterations are required to your original order, you should notify HSE VIDEOS immediately and at the latest, within 7days of the confirmation date. You will be invoiced in full at time of despatch.
Payment is due strictly within 30 days of the invoice date.
Delivery is normally within 30 days of receipt of order. If you do not receive the goods within this time, you should advise HSE VIDEOS immediately . We will attempt to meet any shorter deadline, however additional costs for express delivery will be charged to the customer. HSE VIDEOS reserves the right to exercise its discretion in allowing invoiced payment facilities to purchasers.
You should report any faults, damages in transit or non-delivery to HSE VIDEOS immediately.
Overseas use
Many titles are cleared for use outside the United Kingdom. Please refer to programme description for details of pricing for overseas usage and for availability or contact HSE VIDEOS.
Copyright and Conditions
We reserve the right to take legal action against any persons breaching these conditions.
Material is supplied on the following conditions:
It should be screened only within the United Kingdom, unless authorised by HSE VIDEOS; No fee should be charged for admission nor other revenue from any screening of material; It is not for resale. It should not be disposed of, in whole or in part, without prior permission from HSE VIDEOS; It should not be issued to the public as part of any library or loans service for which a fee is charged; The material should be exhibited in the form which it is supplied and should not be subject to additions or deletions; The material must not be reproduced in whole or in part for incorporation in any other production, or TV broadcast. No videotape or any other copy of the material should be made; Returns will be only accepted where goods are faulty or do not conform to the catalogue description; If the material is required for a purpose which does not comply with these conditions, please notify HSE VIDEOS immediately; HSE VIDEOS cannot issue refunds against duplicate orders.

HSE VIDEOS - Supplementary Service and Conditions of Use for non UK destinations
These supplementary conditions apply to the supply of programmes to destinations outside the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands)

SALES
Orders for delivery to non-UK destinations will not be despatched until payment in full is received by HSE VIDEOS and cleared through the banking system. Upon receipt of your order/enquiry a quotation/pro-forma invoice will be sent to you detailing the total amount (including postage or carriage) payable in Sterling(UK Pounds). A currency exchange surcharge will be payable if payment is to be made in any other currency and/or if the bill is not drawn on a UK branch of the paying bank. Order despatch may be delayed if full payment is not made in Sterling(UK Pounds) using a cheque or bankers order drawn on a UK branch of the paying bank.
Orders from liable EEC countries (including Eire) will be subject to VAT (currently 17.5%) if a VAT registration number, recognised by the UK tax authority, is not provided.
Sales orders must be confirmed in writing.
All orders must state clearly the video standard/format required.VHS PAL will be supplied unless otherwise requested. An additional charge may be made for other formats if a price is not quoted in the catalogue.
Standard international airmail services will normally be used for all despatches unless otherwise agreed at the time of ordering.
HSE VIDEOS cannot be responsible for any customs duties, levies or taxes payable at the country of destination.
